My Story

Music is more than what reaches the ears. It's a supply of intense feelings and words describing emotion greatly. No matter what genre or preference of music, there is always a song that you can relate to. I listen to music sometimes everywhere I go and I'm confident enough to say It's inspiring and, obviously, catchy. Who knew that combining this beat with that, these word with those, and this melody with yours would created something so unique, yet overseen. You can write about whatever as long as the feedback doesn't pass your tolerance. Music is art. I connect with music by emotion. No matter how happy, excited, angry, or upset I am, there’s always a song to satisfy my soul. Occasionally the artist I’m listening to tells a story that I can relate to. I typically listen to Hip Hop and R&B music. Most artists display a time in their life where they were struggling and going through hard times, but pursued. Music has motivated me to not give up and drive towards my dreams. Meek Mill is one of the many inspirational artists I listen to. In one of his songs he talked about his troubled past when he was raised as a young boy.
